Bobby Ray Bosse

Bobby Ray Bosse , 80, of Dry Ridge, KY, passed away on April 16, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center – Grant. Born December 7, 1939 in Grant County, KY, he was the son of the late Ben and Clara Harrison Bosse.

Bobby was a 1958 graduate of Grant Co. High School. In 1992 he was united in marriage to the former Freddie Mae Schnable; she survives. He retired in 1995 from Consolidated Freight. As a pastime, he always enjoyed working in his barn, raising a garden, spending time with his grandchildren, whom affectionately loved him as “Papaw” and especially loved “eating Freddie’s cooking!!"  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army

Survivors, in addition to his wife, Freddie, include his children: Robbie (Brandy) Bosse, Ricky (Kristy) Bosse, Penny Crase, Sheila (Paul) Nowak, all of Dry, Ridge, KY; one sister: Rose Marie (Doug) Alexander of Cynthiana, KY; one step-son: Michael (Colleen) Wolfe of Florence, KY and one step-daughter: Tammy Wolfe. Six grandchildren also survive: Bailey Crase, Katelyn Kidwell, Josie Bosse, Dylan Bosse, Benjamin Bosse and Madlin Bosse; four step-grandchidren: Michael Wolfe, Daniel Wolfe, Nichelle Wolfe, Brandon Wolfe; and two step-great-grandchildren: Jade Wolfe and Eden Wolfe. He was preceded in death by a brother: Billy Frank Bosse.

Due to current government restrictions, there will be a private visitation and service for the family, with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery – North (KVC-N). Rev. Jeff Fain will be officiating.
