Bonnetta "Bonnie" Wilson

Bonnetta Lawrence Wilson was born June 15, 1938 in Dry Ridge, Kentucky and
passed away August 23, 2022 in Lexington, Kentucky at the age of 84. She was
the daughter of the late Bradford and Stella Mae Penick Lawrence.

Bonnie, as she was known by her family and friends, was preceded in death by
her husband, Warner L. “Sam” Wilson, on Oct. 24, 2012. She was also preceded
in death by a brother, Stanley “Buddy” Lawrence, and a sister, Norma Jean
Martin.

Bonnie was a homemaker who is described as being very crafty. She loved
quilting and enjoyed gardening, especially flower gardening. She enjoyed baking
and will be remembered for the time she spent baking Christmas cookies with her
grandchildren, a tradition they will always hold dear. Bonnie loved spending time
with her family and loved her grandchildren more than life itself. She leaves a
legacy of unwavering love for each and every one of them.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter: Lisa Caudill (Hugh McMurray) of Lexington;
her son: Jeffery Wilson (Angie) of Georgetown, IN; a brother: Marvin Lawrence of
Dry Ridge; and six grandchildren: Jessi Ann Oliver, Emily May (Zack), Ashley
Mahan, Grace Caudill (Sam Sergent), Sam Wilson and Maddie Wilson.

Visitation will be 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM, Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2022 at Eckler-
McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM, Tuesday,
at Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans
Cemetery, North in Williamstown.
