Candy Petrey Perry

Candy Petrey Perry of Walton, KY was born April 22, 1959 in Cincinnati, OH and died Tuesday, February 4, 2025 in Vevay, IN at the age of 65 years.

She was the daughter of the late Edgar McKinley and Wanda Faye Walls Petrey. She was a homemaker, and had attended church at Community Family Church in Taylor Mill, KY. On August 22, 1985 she was united in marriage to her husband Richard “Rick” Perry. In addition to her parents, Candy was also preceded in death by a son Justin.

Candy cherished her grandchildren more than anything in this world and loved them with her whole heart. She was a woman of deep faith, embodying the love and grace of God in every aspect of her life.

Candy’s heart was as big as her faith. Throughout her life, Candy’s love for people was at the core of everything she did. Her warmth and giving spirit left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew her.

She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her boundless love, and her commitment to making the world a better place, one act of kindness at a time.

Surviving: her husband, Rick Perry of Walton; son, Matt (and Brittany) of Walton; grandchildren, McKinnley and Lincoln; brother, Randy Petrey of Hillsboro, OH; and sister, Selena Campbell of Milford, OH.

Graveside services will be at 1:00pm Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Highlands Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY.
