Carl Eugene Hausberger

Carl Eugene "Gene" Hausberger was born June 15, 1932 in Harrison Co., Kentucky and passed away March 25, 2022 at his residence in Dry Ridge, Kentucky at the age of 89.  He was the son of the late Martin Joseph and Lucille Rankin Hausberger.

In 1962 Gene was united in marriage to Betty Jo Eibeck Hausberger who preceded him in death in 2019.  He is survived by 2 sons: Joseph Wayne Hausberger of Dry Ridge and Charles Lee "Chuck" Hausberger (Deneise) of Dry Ridge; 2 daughters: Carla Jean Anders (Larry) of Dry Ridge and Beverly Burns of Georgetown; 2 sisters: Lisa and Sally; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, Gene was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Hausberger, and a sister, Evelyn Fields.

He was a member of the Knoxville Baptist Church in Dry Ridge and was a retired truck driver.  Gene loved the outdoors working in his garden and especially mowing the grass.  He was a "Mr. Fix-it" and was known to be able to fix many things.  One of his favorite pastimes was watching westerns.

Memorial services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown.  A memorial visitation will also be Saturday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
