Carl William Lee Webster

Carl William Lee Webster , 67, of Williamstown, KY, passed away on Monday September 2, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Care in Edgewood after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  Born on September 24, 1956 Williamstown, KY, he was the son of the late Christine Virginia Webster.

He was a graduate of Williamstown High School.  For many years he worked for the Celanese Corporation, working specifically with plastic molding. He enjoyed playing pool in his leisure but his greatest excitement came from being a U.K. Basketball, Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds fan. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by the love of his life for the past 24 years, Vickie L. Slocum of Williamstown, two sons: Roger (Brittany) Vance of Harrodsburg, KY, Joshua Webster of Crittenden, KY; one brother: Walter Ray Webster of Dry Ridge, KY, along with five grandchildren: Jaden Vance, Brayden Webster, Eric Webster, Gracie Vance and Ruthie Vance.  Three nieces and several aunts and uncles also survive.

Visitation will be Saturday September 7, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes - Williamstown.  Funeral services will begin at 1:00.  Burial will be in the Webster Family Cemetery at a later date at the convenience of the family.
