David Wessell

Carl David Wessell was born to Carl Vincent and Janet Hopkins Wessell on April 18, 1962 in Portsmouth, Ohio.  Early in his life the family moved to Williamstown, Kentucky.  On Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, David passed away at his residence in Williamstown at the age of 60.

He was always a welcoming face at the Grant County Clerk’s Office and a member of the Dry Ridge Christian Church.  One of his greatest passions was golfing at the Eagle Creek Country Club where he was a member.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew A Wessell and a sister, Nancy Jo Wessell.

David is survived by his brother: Bill Wessell of Williamstown, his sister: Carla Murphy of Greensburg, IN; his niece: Maci Murphy-Vogel and his nephew: Tristan Murphy.

Visitation will be from Noon – 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 PM.
