Carla Fay Huff

Carla Fay Huff, 64, a Corinth, KY resident, died Thursday March 30, 2023, at her residence after a lengthy illness.  Born on Thursday December 18, 1958 in Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Claude Elden and Pauline Fay Ashcraft Washum.

For many years, until her health diagnosis, Carla was a school bus driver for Grant County Board of Education.  She loved working with crafts, fishing and playing softball.

Survivors include her soul mate and longtime significant other: Steven Philip Martin; three sons: Nicholas Huff of Corinth, Jeremy (Jessica) Huff of Williamstown, Craig (Tammie) Huff of Williamstown; one sister: Sandi Washum Adams of Pendleton County, along with four grandchildren: Bryce Eibeck, Brooklyn Huff, Georgia Huff and Peyton Huff. She was preceded in death by a son: Derrick Wayne Huff, one brother: Dale Washum and a sister: Terry Washum.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 8, 2023 at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown.  Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.; funeral services will begin at 1:00.  A private burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.
