Carol Ann Gordon

December 2, 1948 — July 14, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Carol Ann Gordon, aged 75, of Dry Ridge, KY, in the comfort of her home on Sunday, July 14, 2024.

Carol was born on December 2, 1948, to the late Edith and Charles Sebree. She dedicated her life to raising her two children and managing the books at the family business, Gordon’s Body Shop, alongside her husband, Carl.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Gordon;  her daughter, Carrie (Mike Jones) Gordon; her son, Todd (Ashley) Gordon; five grandchildren, Taylor (Darien) Lanham, Kaylee Gordon, Logan (Molly) Gordon, Nova Gordon, and Nash Gordon, as well as four great-grandchildren, four nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Sue Lawrence, and her brother, William Sparks Sebree.

Carol, known lovingly as Mom and MaMa, was one of a kind. She was known for her fun-loving personality, love for people, and will be remembered for her strength and perseverance. The family has fond memories of her going out of her way to make every occasion special. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, good restaurants, and always left the house looking stylish. Although she will be missed dearly our family finds peace knowing she is now at home—free, healed and breathing heavenly air.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at her residence 4585 Taft Hwy, Dry Ridge, KY on August 4, 2024 beginning at 5:00PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to:  St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105; Shriner's Children, Processing Center, PO Box 947765, Atlanta, GA,  30394; or Make A Wish, OH, KY, IN, 2545 Farmers Drive Suite 300, Columbus, OH  43235.
