Carol Ann Leonard

Carol Ann Leonard , 53, a resident of Crittenden, KY, passed away Thursday July 9, 2020 at her residence after a lengthy illness. Born in Fayette County (Lexington), KY on February 19, 1967, she was the daughter of Charles Thomas and Rebecca Rector Leonard.

Carol had served as manager of both Pilot Travel Centers in Richwood. She was a graduate of Moore High School in Moore, OK and graduated with an Associate Degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Phoenix.  She loved working puzzles, watching sitcoms; and was a passionate animal lover. She was of the Catholic faith.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents: Charles and Becky Rector Leonard of Crittenden; one brother: Stephen Leonard of Crittenden; two sisters: Krista Leonard of Crittenden, KY and Cathy (Charles) Anderson of Norman, OK; uncles: Rev. Tom (Barbara) Rector of Erlanger, KY and Ralph (Jane) Rector of Battle Creek, MI, as well as several other aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. During her illness, her two dogs brought her much comfort and support, “Koko” her Chihuahua and “Penny” her York Terrier. She was preceded in death by a sister: Katrina Leonard.

Visitation will be Monday July 13, 2020 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes (Crittenden location). Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tom Rector officiating. Burial will follow in Crittenden Cemetery.
