Caroleen Caldwell Kinman was born on November 6, 1933 in Golds Valley, Kentucky and entered the gates of Heaven on July 16, 2021 at the age of 87. She was the daughter of the late Kirtley and Eliza Jane "Cricket" Scroggins Caldwell. On May 28, 1952, Caroleen was united in marriage to Charlie Kinman who preceded her in death on September 29, 2000.
Caroleen was a retired secretary of Kinman Construction Company working alongside her husband for 48 years and retired from the Internal Revenue Service. Caroleen was a dedicated lifelong member of Knoxville Baptist Church, where she faithfully served as a Sunday school teacher, WMU activities, and nursery. Caroleen devoted her life to her faith and family, enjoyed events with her grandchildren and cooking, especially her jam cake, which she provided at every church gathering, charity auction, and family reunion.
Survivors are her daughters, Kathy (John) Mullins of Dry Ridge and Karen Kinman of Florence, her sons, Nelson Kinman of Florence and Dan Kinman of Florence. 4 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Elnora (Pete) Howe of Dry Ridge, and Patsy (Jerry) Adkins of Dry Ridge, sister-in-law, Dorothea Caldwell of Dry Ridge, and one brother Rev. Lester (Janice) Caldwell of Corinth. In addition to her parents and husband, three brothers, Leonard Caldwell, Denver "Buddy" Caldwell, and Walter Caldwell and two sisters, Christine Kinman and Louise Vannarsdall, preceded Caroleen in death.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 4:00 PM at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be on Saturday, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews.
