Carolyn Hudson

Carolyn Hudson , 83, of Erlanger, KY, entered into her eternal rest on Monday March 10, 2025 at Villaspring Nursing and Rehab after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.  Born on July 12, 1941 in New Liberty, (Owen Co.) KY, she was the daughter of the late Mayro and Arsolia “Sam” Jones Hayden.

On April 12, 1976, she was united in marriage to Charles L. Hudson; he preceded her in death on December 17, 2024. She was a dedicated housewife and homemaker. Much of her adult life, she worked as a Sales Clerk at various jewelry stores in Northern KY. She was an avid animal lover, having love for all creatures, including a special iguana and Guinee pigs. Loving her family was the single most important desire of her life. She was a member of Kent-a-boo Baptist Church.

Carolyn leaves to carry on her legacy to her son: David Curry of Alexandria, KY; four grandchildren: Brandon (Liz) Curry, Angela (Andrew) Devita Smith, Vincent Devita and Hayden Curry, along with three great-grandchildren: Maxwell Curry, Adeline Curry and Melora Smith. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Lisa Curry; a sister, Shirley Rae Hayden and a grandson, Dale Hacker.

Visitation will be Monday March 17, 2025 at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown, from 10:00 a.m. till 12 Noon.  Funeral services will begin at 12:00 at the funeral home.  She will be laid to rest next to the love of her life for 48 years, Charles, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery – North in Williamstown.
