Carolyn Rayburn

Carolyn Rayburn of Williamstown, KY was born Wednesday, June 6, 1951 in Lexington, KY and died Monday, November 15, 2021 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 70.

She was the daughter of the late Bennie and Lizzina Ellen Long Horn, retired after 27 years as the lunch room monitor for the Grant County School system, and was a member of the Sherman Baptist Church. On August 27, 1977 she was united in marriage to Melvin Eugene Rayburn. She has spent her years being an avid Grant County Braves fan and supporter of all sports, and was all about life with her grandkids. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Horn in 2012.

Surviving is her husband Melvin Rayburn of Williamstown, 1 son, James (Mindy) Rayburn of Williamstown, 1 daughter, Mandy (Jeff) Green of Falmouth, 4 grandchildren, Justine (Dawson) Godby, Kylie Rayburn, Karlee Rayburn and Kody Rayburn, and 1 brother, Wayne (Carolyn) Horn of Crittenden.

Services will be 2:00pm Friday, November 19, 2021 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown followed by burial in the Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation will also be Friday 11:00am-2:00pm at the funeral home.
