Cecil Monhollen, Sr.

Cecil Monhollen, Sr. was born November 2, 1936 in Corbin, Kentucky and passed away June 10, 2021 in Dry Ridge, Kentucky at the age of 84.  He was the son of the late Jay Monhollen and Alice Marie Barton Webster.

On March 18, 1954 Cecil was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Collins Monhollen.  In addition to his wife of 67 years, Cecil is survived by 2 sons: Cecil Monhollen, Jr. (Sonny) of Williamstown and Chris Monhollen (Annette Combs) of Dry Ridge; a daughter: Pamela Beach (Danny) of Dry Ridge; 2 half-siblings: Terry and Brenda; 9 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by 2 daughters: Sharon Patrice Monhollen and Monica Lynn Monhollen Coots; a brother: Albert Monhollen; and a sister: Alvena Monhollen.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
