C.H. Hughett, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, U.S. Army veteran, and member of Crittenden Baptist Church, passed away peacefully at home on January 15, 2025, at the age of 90. Born in Robbins, Tennessee, to Howard and Marie Hughett, C.H. graduated from Robbins High School before serving honorably in the U.S. Army. Following his military service, he dedicated over 30 years to Ray Hamilton Company, a specialized logistics and transportation provider based in Cincinnati, Ohio. He and his beloved wife, Kay, shared 57 years of marriage. C.H. is survived by his children: son Scott Hughett (Debbie); son Chuck Hughett; and daughter Beth Webster (Michael). He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Tiffany, Leah, Holly, Jared, Megan, Hayden, and Lauren; and five great-grandchildren: Brandon, Braylon, Zoey, Jackson, and Sammie. He is also survived by his siblings: Ronald Hughett (Dottie); Judy Stanley (Jack); and Martha Jean McCartt (Allen). C.H. was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Marie Hughett; his brother, Woody Hughett; and his sister, Bernice DeBord. Visitation will start at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, January 22nd at Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, Kentucky, followed by a celebration of C.H.’s life at 6:00 PM. Interment will take place on Thursday, January 23rd at 10:00 AM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, where military honors will be rendered in recognition of his service.
