Charles Dennis Alexander

Charles Dennis Alexander of Florence, KY and formerly of Dry Ridge, KY was born Wednesday, April 23, 1941 in Elliston, KY and died Monday, May 4, 2020 in Ft Thomas, KY at the age of 79.

He was the son of the late Charley and Ruth Alexander, a retired security supervisor for American Financial, and a member of the Erlanger Baptist Church. Charles spent many years actively involved with emergency services in the Northern Kentucky area, he was former police chief with the Dry Ridge Police Department as well as an officer with Kenton County Police, a former owner/operator with the Grant County Ambulance Service, and a former member of the Dry Ridge Fire Department, Covington Fire Department and the Independence Fire Department where he was a fire inspector.

Charles was united in marriage in 1960 to his 1 ^st wife Phyllis Turner Alexander who preceded him in death in 1976, his 2 ^nd wife Peggy Ann Osborne Alexander preceded him in death in 2019. In addition to his wives and parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Janet Thomas.

Surviving is one son, Cameron Tracy (Maureen) Alexander of Dayton, KY, one daughter, Carla Ann (Gary) Feldmann of Alexandria, KY, and 3 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be private at the convenience of the family.
