Charles "Buddy" Edmund Wehrman

Charles "Buddy" E. Wehrman, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Williamstown, KY on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the age of 86.  He was the husband of Brenda Taylor Wehrman.

Buddy was born on February 8, 1939 to the late Charles H. Wehrman and Thelma Hunter Wehrman.  He married Brenda Joyce Taylor on Jan. 9, 1973, she survives.  Buddy was a member of the Sherman Full Gospel Church.  He enjoyed camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, rappelling, kayaking, trapping, travelling, bicycling, growing a vegetable garden, collecting firearms and reloading.  He and his wife enjoyed travelling the state and visiting all of the covered bridges.  He loved spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife Brenda, Buddy is survived by six sons, Randy, David, Chuck, Eric, Timothy and Jason Wehrman; six daughters, Kathy Lipps, Jenny Wehrman, Judy Wehrman, Kristine Smith, Melissa Nichols, Amanda Wehrman, 20 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, William "Bill" and Craig Wehrman.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Eckler McDaniel Funeral Home, 30 S. Main St., Dry Ridge, KY 41035.  Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the funeral home with Bro. Jimmy Burford officiating.  Burial will follow at the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
