Charles "Eddy" Courtney

Charles Edward “Eddy” Courtney, 50, of Williamstown, KY, died Friday February 9, 2024 at his residence.  Born on September 22, 1973 in Brookside, Florida; he was the son of Linda Jane Courtney and the late Rev. Charles Boyd Courtney.

Eddy was a gifted and talented young man. He brought much joy to those around him with his warm smile and love for family.  He was particularly gifted in painting and doing an assortment of creative designs with beads. For many years he was active and participated in the many programs North Key Community Care in Williamstown had to offer. He was a member of the Potter’s House Church in Crittenden.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, Linda Jane Courtney of Williamstown, include two brothers: John Tracy Courtney, Rudolph Frederick Courtney, both of Williamstown; two sisters: Samantha Elizabeth Davis of Tennessee, Crystal Mattox of Williamstown; a special aunt: Clara Oaks Blaine of Williamstown; along with a host of special family members which include: Keagan Whitworth, Creighton Whitworth, Addylyne Whitworth, Everleigh Whitworth, Zyndayah Whitworth, Caspian Whitworth, Jennivice Whitworth, Aazyra Whitworth, Madison Whitworth and Vadelity Whitworth and their father, Richard Whitworth.

A celebration of Eddy’s life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
