Charles Wesley Griffin

Charles “Charlie” Wesley Griffin formerly of Williamstown, KY was born July 2, 1950 in Covington, KY and died Saturday, February 29, 2020 in Eastpoint, FL at the age of 69. He was the son of the late Earl Wesley and Sylvia May Anderson Griffin.

He was a graduate of Grant County High School in 1968 and Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law Enforcement in 1972. Charlie was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. He held several law enforcement jobs, and was a member of Grassy Run Baptist Church.

He is survived by one sister, Barbara Griffin Ballenger; one niece Roxanne (John) Howe; one nephew, Roger (Rocklin) Ballenger; one great niece, Macy Howe, all of Williamstown, KY and many cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, March 13, 2020 at Williamstown Baptist Church, from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m with a brief Memorial Service at 5:30 at the church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in the Williamstown Cemetery, Williamstown, KY.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in his memory to the Grant County Animal Shelter or Gideon’s International.
