Charles Dean Hon

Charles Dean Hon was born November 28, 1948 in Zion Station, Kentucky and passed away May 24, 2021 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 72. He was the son of the late Emmett Dean Hon and Clara Mae Webster Hon.

Charles was a member of Eagle Creek Apostolic Church and the American Legion. He was a retired general construction worker. He also enjoyed playing euchre and watching westerns, and when he was younger he loved hunting.

He is survived by one son: Michael Lee “Mike” Hon of Glencoe; a daughter: Stephanie Ruth Hon of Elliston; two brothers: Danny (Connie) Hon of Bromley and Tony (Verna) Hon of New Liberty; and two grandchildren: DJ Cook and Corbin Hadden.

Funeral services will be 3 PM, Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Hamilton – Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 1 PM - 3 PM Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the Napoleon cemetery in Gallatin County, Kentucky.
