Charles "Nate" Lee Bowling

Charles "Nate" Bowling, a Georgetown resident, passed away at the UK Medical Center in Lexington on July 25, 2020 at the age of 20.

Nate was a loader for UPS in Lexington, KY.  He was a member of the Williamstown Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Fellowship United Methodist Church in Shopville, KY.  He loved to camp, hunt, fish and listen to music.  He loved the outdoors and is described as a born again Christian that outwardly spoke the gospel and his ambition was to become a minister.

Nate is survived by his mother, Sabina Bills (Harold) Jewell of Georgetown, KY, father, Cecil Lee (Melissa) Bowling of Somerset, KY, three brothers, Isaiah Pulliam of Cynthiana, KY, Malichi Streitenberger of Somerset, KY, Jason Jewell of Crittenden, KY, four sisters, Jelissa Streitenberger of Somerset, KY, Natasha (Dakota) Fredrick of Corinth, KY, Mary Schlarman of Dry Ridge, KY, Hannah Jewell of Georgetown, KY, paternal grandparents, Cecil Bowling, Sr. of London, KY, Brenda Stelle of Somerset, KY, maternal grandparents, George Jr. & Bonnie Bills of Cynthiana, KY, paternal great grandparents, Lee & Agnes Bowling of Somerset, KY, maternal great grandfather, Leonard Watson of Paris, KY and several nieces and nephews.  Nate is preceded in death by one sister, Opal Rose Jewell.

Visitation will be Friday, July 31, 2020 from 11am-1pm at the Voice of Truth Ministry Church in Cynthiana, KY.  Funeral Services will be at 1pm with Rev. Ron Corbin officiating.  Burial will follow at the Jacksonville Cemetery in Paris, KY.  Memorials are suggested to the Gideon's International.
