Charles H. Rudd, Jr.

Mr. Charles H. Rudd, Jr. of Corinth, KY. and formerly of San Francisco, CA. and Denver, CO., passed away Tuesday, January 26 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lexington, KY. at the age of 51.  Chuck, as he was known to family and friends, was born February 17, 1969 in Lexington, KY. to Martha Hillman Rudd Conrad and the late Charles H. Rudd, Sr.  Chuck grew up in Grant County and graduated from Grant County High School in 1987.  Chuck worked as an information technology specialist for Trumpet Behavioral Health in Denver, CO. and was a member of the Corinth Christian Church.  Chuck had proudly served his country in the United States Navy.  In his free time he enjoyed travel, cooking and was an avid movie watcher.  When he lived in California and Colorado he was very active within his community. In addition to having lived in California and Colorado, Chuck had lived previously in Virginia Beach, VA.

Chuck is survived by his mother: Martha Hillman Conrad of Corinth, KY., a half brother: Scott Conrad and his wife Stephanie of Corinth, KY., a half sister: Mary Keith and her husband Simon of Georgetown, KY., 5 nieces and nephews: Shelby, Riley, Alyssa, Ezra and Naomi.  He is also survived by a great many extended family members as well as a group of close friends from his former employer in Denver, CO. and Lakewood, CO.

Funeral services for Mr. Charles H. Rudd, Jr. will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, January 31 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, 440 Old Corinth-Owenton Road, Corinth, KY. 41010 with Bro. Bruce Harrison officiating.  Visitation will also be Sunday from 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm.  If memorial contributions are desired they may be directed to the Rudd family in care of the funeral home.
