Charlotte Jeanette May

Charlotte Jeanette May, 81, a Verona, KY resident died unexpectedly on Thursday March 30, 2023 at her residence along with her husband, Jean Porter May, Sr. Born Sunday June 1, 1941 in Newmarket, KY, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Eugene and Elsie Gartin Murphy Raikes.

On February 20, 1960, she was united in marriage to Jean Porter May, Sr. She was a devoted housewife and homemaker; as a pastime she also enjoyed painting and landscaping.

Survivors include three sons: Jean Porter (Dorothy) May. Jr., of Cincinnati, OH, Michael Patrick (Elaine) May of Bend, Oregon, Steven E. (Beth) May, Sr. of Louisville, KY; one daughter: Valerie (Kevin) Harrison of Westchester, OH, along with 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
