Christopher Michael Lanter

Christopher Michael Lanter was born Aug. 31, 1977 in Covington, Kentucky and passed away Mar. 3, 2021 in Tavares, Florida at the age of 43.  He was the son of the late Michael Dawson Lanter and Sandra Jump Cook (Kerry) of Williamstown.

Chris was united in marriage to Julie Voelker Lanter.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons: Parker Lanter and Alek Lanter both of Tavares, FL; 3 brothers: Scott Lanter (Amber) of Williamstown, Brad Cook (Rachel) of Berea and Anthony Cook of Ludlow; and a sister: Aimee Harney (Rusty) of Crittenden.

Chris worked in auto body and painting and he was a member of the Mt. Olivet Christian Church in Williamstown.  He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and custom painting cars.  He loved his family and friends dearly and will be remembered for his big heart.  He was very caring always willing to help anyone in need and his giving continued even after his passing with his gift of life through organ donation.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Sunday, at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the New Vine Run Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
