Clyde Edison Oliver

Clyde Edison Oliver of Verona, KY was born May 8, 1946 in Verona, KY and died Tuesday, December 17, 2019 in Verona, KY at the age of 73.

He was the son of the late Judge Russell and Lula Esther Oliver, owner and operator of Clyde’s Barber Shop in Williamstown, and a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church, Verona, KY. On September 6, 1997 he was united in marriage to his wife Virda Ruth Mullins Oliver. In addition to his parents, Clyde was also preceded in death by 1 brother, David Oliver, and a sister, Violet Casey.

Surviving is his wife, Ruth of Verona, KY; 2 daughters Tracy June Oliver of Verona, KY and Patricia Lynn Jump of Dry Ridge, KY; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Lillian McCord of Verona, KY.

Graveside services will be at 2:00pm Friday, December 20, 2019 at the New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, KY.
