Colleen Heggie Schaffeld

Mrs. Colleen Heggie Schaffeld, a Verona resident, passed away at her residence on Friday, February 4, 2022 at the age of 28.  She was the wife of Jeremy Schaffeld.

Colleen was a former Personal Care Attendant for Atria.  She loved to read, listen to music, go camping, fishing, travelling to vacation destinations and loved dolphins.  Her family describes her as a very giving and caring woman who loved to socialize with friends and cherished her moments with her daughter and family.

In addition to her husband Jeremy, Colleen is survived by her daughter, Destiny Schaffeld, parents Thomas and Melissa Heggie, father and mother-in-laws, Brian and Jenny Schaffeld, one brother, Tommy Heggie III and two nieces and one nephew.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 11am-1pm at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, KY.  Funeral services will follow at 1pm.  Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery in Verona, KY.  Memorials donations may be made to the New Bethel Baptist Church, Verona, KY.
