Colton Brian Dalton of Crittenden, Kentucky

September 7, 2000 - March 16, 2024

Colton Brian Dalton , 23, of Crittenden, KY, died from injuries sustained in an ATV (all-terrain vehicle) accident in Stanton, KY on Saturday March 16, 2024. Born on September 7, 2000 in Edgewood, KY, he was the son of Brian Philip and Shaunda Nicole Luttrell Dalton.

Colton led an adventurous, fun-loving life. With his welcoming and engaging charismatic personality, he endeared himself to everyone that knew him.  He was a 2018 graduate of Grant Co. High School. He was employed by A. Hodge Towing Service in Crittenden where he served as a mechanic and a tow truck operator. His selfless attitude caused him to want to give anybody the shirt off his back; he was an individual everyone wanted to be around and was the life of the party.  His gentle, polite spirit caused him to give light to so many people; he never wanted to hurt anyone…only to help and assist in any way possible. He will be remembered as an honest and straightforward person but was always polite about it. Four-wheeling and being a member of the Drew Valley Riders Association brought him much happiness and excitement in life.

He leaves to mourn his passing but yet celebrate his life and legacy, his loving and devoted parents: Brian Philip and Shaunda Nicole Luttrell Dalton of Crittenden, his brother: Aden Dalton; his long-time partner: Elizabeth Holder; his paternal grandparents: Philip and Pamela Dalton; his maternal grandfather: Robert (late Pam) Luttrell; maternal great-grandmother: Brenda (late Jerry) Luttrell; uncles: Chris Luttrell, Tony Luttrell; aunts: Brandy (Rob) Bosse, Shauna (Bryan) Slaughter, all of Crittenden,  along with a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday March 22, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown.  Funeral services will begin at 2:00 with Rev. Gayless Gaines officiating.  Burial will follow in Crittenden Cemetery.
