Connie Price Link

Mrs. Connie Jean Price Link, a Williamstown resident, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, KY at the age of 83.  She was the widow of the late Joseph Wayne Link.

Connie was born in Williamstown, KY on September 10,1940 to the late Fred Price and  Nancy Graves Price.  She married Joseph Wayne Link on January 20, 1961 whom preceded her death in 2021.  They were married for 61 years. She is survived by two sons, Dennis "Mickey" Price (Mona) of Jonesville, KY, Joseph "Todd" Link of Williamstown, KY, one daughter Kimberly Link-Albers (Douglas) of Williamstown, KY, one brother Rex Price (Carol) of Owenton, KY, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and her sister Peggy Penick.

Connie was a former cosmetologist and employed by the Williamstown School System for 31 years and a member of the St. William Catholic Church.  She was a Williamstown Head Start Program advocate and received recognition and awards from Washington, D.C.  She loved sewing, fishing, horseback riding, working her fruit orchard as well as vegetable gardening and canning.  She loved to travel to the mountains, beaches, and loved the Amish lifestyle.  She was a fabulous cook, enjoyed knitting, UK Basketball and was a member and supporter of the Williamstown Basketball Boosters and a member of the St. William's Fish Fry Committee.  Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family.  She dearly loved her grandchildren and often shared memories with them listening to her favorite "life" stories and playing games.

Visitation will be held at the St. William Catholic Church in Williamstown, KY  on Saturday March 9, 2024 from 11;00 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00.with Father Benton Cliff and Deacon Mike Lyman officiating. Burial will follow in the Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY. Memorials are suggested to St. William Catholic Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
