Dallas Messer

Dallas Messer was born Jan. 14, 1947 in Clay County, Kentucky and passed away October 28, 2024 in Williamstown, Kentucky at the age of 77.  He was the son of the late Willie and Eva Hicks Messer.

Dallas was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Louise Thurman Messer, on February 14, 2024.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Tom, and two sisters, Rita and Bea.  Dallas is survived by his son: Dallas Ray Messer of Sparta; his daughter: Barbara Perez (Bibiano) of Sparta; three brothers: Ray Messer of Warsaw, Roger Messer (Linda) of Mt. Zion and Alva Messer (Linda) of Michigan; a sister: Alice Starnes (Eddie) of Union; and three grandchildren: Kaleb Perez, Selena Perez and Gabriela Messer.

Dallas was a lifelong farmer and always stayed busy.  When not farming he could often be found piddling around the farm.  He enjoyed fishing and people watching.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, Nov. 4, 2024 on the family farm at 4555 New Liberty Sparta Rd., Sparta, KY  41086.
