Daniel Wayne Horton

Daniel Wayne Horton , 70, of the Lexington, KY area, passed away on Tuesday March 4, 2025 at the University of Kentucky – Chandler Medical Center.  Born on January 5, 1955, in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late Vernon and Ruby Elizabeth Blevins Horton.

On June 27, 1975 he proudly entered the U.S. Army; he was honorably discharged on December 11, 1976 with a rank of PV2. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Owenton.

Survivors include one son: Kyle Nathaniel (Beth) Horton of Owenton, KY; two daughters: Emily Horton (Tony Wilson) of Warsaw, KY, Laura (T.J.) O’Nan of Lawrenceburg, KY; four brothers: Robert Howell, Larry Jones, Randy Jones, Rusty Jones along with seven grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday March 13, 2025 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery – North in Williamstown, KY at 10:00 a.m.
