Danny Joe Mcelfresh

Mr. Danny Joe McElfresh of Morningview, KY. passed away at his home on Monday, June 15 at the age of 68.  Mr. McElfresh was born in Covington, KY. Dec. 11, 1951 to the late Charles Anthony McElfresh and Martha Evelyn Gaddis McElfresh.  Mr. McElfresh was an owner of McElfresh Painting and worked as a contractor for Drees Homes and Fischer Homes.  He attended the Erlanger Baptist Church and was a member of the Homebuilders Association.  He was passionate about classic cars and guitars.  He recently sold a '67 Chevelle and currently owned at '66 Chevy II Nova.

In addition to his parents Mr. McElfresh was preceded in death by sisters: Juna Wainscott, Earlene Barndt and by a brother: Mack McElfresh.

Mr. McElfresh is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sandra Poorman McElfresh.  1 son: Danny J. McElfresh, Jr. and his wife Christine of Independence, KY., 2 daughters: Leslie McElfresh Collett and her husband Travis of Independence, KY., Carly McElfresh Neltner and her husband Ryan of Alexandria, KY., brothers: twin brother, David McElfresh and his wife Debbie of Dry Ridge, KY., Tony McElfresh and his wife Joyce of Florence, KY., Roger McElfresh and his wife Dee of Covington, KY., sisters: Linda Anderson and her husband Hugh of Edgewood, KY., Marita Spencer and her husband Doug of Iowa, Kim Mullins and her husband Mike of Villa Hills, KY., Sherri McElfresh of Jacksonville, FL. and he has 8 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Danny Joe McElfresh will be conducted 1:00 pm Friday, June 19 in the chapel of the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main Street, Williamstown, KY. 41097 with Rev. Jimmy Sears officiating.  Visitation will also be on Friday, June 19 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.  Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery.  Memorial contributions if desired may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions we will be monitoring capacity as we will now be allowed to have 50% capacity.  Social distancing will still be required as are face covers.
