Danny J. Thomas

Danny J.  Thomas, 67, of Crittenden, KY, died Wednesday October 25, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Care in Edgewood.  Born on Thursday April 26, 1956 in Hazard, KY, he was the son of the late J.C. and Audrey Keel Thomas.

On December 30, 1972, Danny was united in marriage to the former Donna Gayle Hughes; she preceded him in death on July 16th of this year. Having been a Master Plumber for many years, he was the former owner and operator of Thomas Plumbing Services in Crittenden. Until his health would not allow him to do so, he was an avid target shooter and loved watching westerns.

Survivors include one daughter: Devin (Brian) Landers of Crittenden; one son: Timothy J. Thomas of Union; two brothers: Mike Thomas of Independence, Ronnie Thomas of Covington; one sister: Sheila McMurray of Crittenden, along with four grandchildren: Blake White, Brice Landers, Collin Landers, Rylee Thomas and one great-grandson: Hudson Landers. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Roger Thomas, Johnny Thomas, Timmy Thomas and two sisters: Sandra Scudder and Rhonda Hillhouse.

An immediate burial will take place Wednesday November 1, 2023 at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell. Those wishing to follow in the possession to Highland Cemetery may gather Wednesday at Stanley Funeral Homes – Crittenden at 11:00; we will proceed to the cemetery led by a motorcycle escort with an arrival time of 12 noon.
