Darlene Osborne

Cheryl Darlene Osborne, 75, of Owenton, KY, entered into her heavenly home from St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood on Saturday May 15, 2021.  Born November 11, 1945 in Covington, KY, she was the daughter of the late Edward Louis and Doris Adeline Northcutt Pyles.

On September 21, 1963 she was united in marriage to Lowell Wayne Osborne; he survives.  She was a 1964 graduate of Grant Co. High School. She was in the banking profession most her life; she first served as a Branch Manager with Citizen’s Bank, then it became Community First Bank and later it became Grant County Deposit; she retired from Forcht Bank. She loved doing interior decorating, flower gardening, landscaping and farming alongside her husband, Lowell Wayne.  However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her “grandkids”.  She will long be remembered for being funny, witty and her unselfish spirit. She was a member of Jonesville Methodist Church.

She leaves to carry on her legacy, her husband of 58 years, Lowell Wayne Osborne; two sons: Darrin Wayne (June) Osborne of Owenton, Benjamin Dale Osborne of Owenton; two brothers: Rodney (Judy) Pyles of Georgetown, Darryl (Heather) Pyles of Berry.  Three grandchildren also survive: Abby Osborne, Jacob Osborne and Macie (David) Gray, all of whom lovingly called her “Mama”.  She was preceded in death by sister, Sandra Robinson.

Visitation will be Wednesday May 19, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes (Williamstown location).  Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. with Revs. Howard Chipman and Andrew Singh. officiating.  Burial will follow in the Jonesville Masonic Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Timmy Robinson, Kevin Robinson, Jon Robinson, Tommy Robinson, Chris Robinson and Johnny Merryman.
