David Vertis Dye, 53, of Crittenden, KY, died Monday January 8, 2024 at his residence from carbon monoxide poisoning, along with his son, David Vertis Lee Dye. Born on November 18, 1970, in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of Joann Morris Dye and the late Vertis Lee Dye.
David was a 1988 graduate of Boone County High School; he also received an Associate Degree from NKU. For 15 years he was employed as a machinist with Burdine – Anderson Inc. in Burlington. He loved having a nice cold Bud Light while watching his favorite football and basketball teams, namely, the U. K. Wildcats and Cincinnati Bengals.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his mother: Joann Dye of Florence; one daughter: Brittany Dye of Fort Wright; one sister: Paula (Billy Adams) Dye of Florence and two brothers: Ronnie Dye of Florence and Michael Faulkner of Florence.
A joint Celebration of Remembrance, along with his son will be held at Shiloh Full Gospel Church, located at 266 Keefer Road, Corinth, KY 41010 on Sunday January 14, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Greg Cheeks officiating.
