David Vertis Lee Dye

David Vertis Lee Dye , 21, of Crittenden, KY, died Monday January 8, 2024 at his residence from carbon monoxide poisoning, along with his father, David Vertis Dye.  Born on August 17, 2002 in Edgewood, KY, he was the son of Brandy Nicole King and the late David Vertis Dye.

David was a 2020 graduate of Grant County High School. He was employed at Zoatfoams in Walton.  Following the UK Wildcats, Cincinnati Bengals and listening to music were among his greatest fulfillments in life but nothing could parallel to the love he had for his son, Calvin.   All of his siblings will remember him as having “the biggest heart of anyone they ever knew.”

He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved son, Calvin Dye of Williamstown, his mother, Brandy Nicole Dye of Corinth; three brothers: Logan Willoughby of Fort Wright, Dakota Willoughby of Crittenden, Brandon Warmouth of Somerset; one sister, Brittany Dye of Fort Wright and his maternal grandparents: Darnell and Nadine Rowe of Corinth.  Also perishing in this accident was David’s Pit Bull dog, “Chop”.

A joint Celebration of Remembrance will be held at Shiloh Full Gospel Church, located at 266 Keefer Road, Corinth, KY  41010 on Sunday January 14, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Greg Checks officiating.
