Deborah "Debbie" Hill of Lawrenceburg, Indiana

November 5, 1955 - January 31, 2025

Deborah (Debbie) June Hill was surrounded by her loving family as she went to be with the Lord on January 31, 2025. Debbie was born on November 5, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was raised by Bill and June Fox in Cleves, Ohio. As her parents aged, she was committed to caring for them and making sure their needs were met. Debbie married the love of her life, John Hill, on July 13, 1990. Together, Debbie and John made many great memories on trips to Gatlinburg and enjoyed spending leisurely time in the mountains.

While raising two small children, Debbie worked hard to complete nursing school and then spent more than 14 years working as a Registered Nurse. She worked in various settings including the ICU and step-down units. She also worked as a supervisor at a nursing home and truly loved caring for the elderly. Debbie gave a lot to the world and impacted many throughout her career and her personal life. She was a kind-hearted and gentle person who loved to nurture and was always willing to help others. She was known for her sweet and tender heart. Debbie enjoyed crafts and making handmade Christmas ornaments and jewelry. She was also great at sewing and made beautiful handmade quilts for her loved ones. Knowing Debbie was a believer and that she trusted Jesus as her Savior, her family is comforted knowing she has entered the gates of Heaven.

Debbie was an organ donor and she donated her kidneys to medical research. She was recognized with an Honor Walk at St. Elizabeth Hospital and she received a Donor Medal of Honor for her gift of organ donation. Through her gift, Debbie will continue to give back to the medical field, helping many, many people in need.

Debbie is survived by her devoted husband, John Hill; her parents, Bill and June Fox; her sister, Sharon Stephens; her children, Jessica (Cole) Bradham and Christopher Burkhardt; her stepson, Dave (Sharon) Hill; and her three beautiful grandchildren, Addison Burkhardt, James Bradham and Jack Bradham.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025 from 11am-1pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097.  Funeral will follow at 1pm.  A short graveside service will follow the funeral at the Williamstown Cemetery.  Rev. Howard Chipman will be officiating services.
