Deborah Ann Sexton

April 2, 1963 — July 2, 2023

Deborah Ann Sexton, fondly known as Debbie, of Corinth, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, July 2nd, 2023 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky at the age of 60 following a brief illness. She was born on Tuesday, April 2nd, 1963 at the Owen County Memorial Hospital in Owenton, Kentucky to the late Robert John and Laverne Callahan.


On Saturday, July 18th, 1987, Debbie married the love of her life, Richard Sexton. The two of them were happily married for over 30 years until Richard’s passing in June of 2018. In addition to her parents and husband, Debbie is preceded in death by one of her brothers, Doug Callahan.


Surviving is Debbie and Richard’s beloved son, Robert Sexton. Also surviving are her brother, Robbie Callahan of Erlanger, Kentucky; her nephews: Chris, Michael, Joey, John and Aaron; her nieces: Brandi and Cassie; a great-nephew Dominic; as well as her dear sister-in-law, Tena (Thomas) Francis of Las Vegas, Nevada. Keven, Tara, and Miss Charlotte need also be mentioned as they were considered by her as family.

Debbie made a living working at the Dollar General Distribution Center in Walton, Kentucky. She and her best friend Sandra were members of the self-proclaimed “Chicken Club” when reminiscing of the fond times they had together when working at KFC. Debbie loved watching cooking shows on television, especially those that involved chefs competing against one another. This fondness for competition was apparent too in her fascination for game Shows, The Game Show Network was constantly on when she was around. Debbie adored Winnie the Pooh, treasuring her collections of Pooh Bear and his companions of the forest surrounding the Hundred Acre Woods. “If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever.”- Winnie the Pooh

A Memorial Service for Debbie will later be held at the convenience of the family.
