Dennis Wayne Rich

Dennis Wayne Rich was born May 17, 1947 in Covington, Kentucky and passed away December 6, 2023 in Florence,Kentucky at the age of 76. He was the son of the late Warren and Blanche Webster Rich.

Dennis retired as Bank President of Forcht Bank in Williamstown. He was also a member at New Bethel Baptist Church in Verona where he served his church as deacon and treasurer.  He was a founding and current member of the WAVE Foundation for Walton Verona Independent Schools and he served as the President of the New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.

Not only was Dennis very active in his church, community and in his career before retirement, but he also enjoyed his free time.  He loved playing golf and was a big sports fan. He had season tickets and enjoyed going to the Cincinnati Bengals and UK basketball games with his family.  Dennis was very much a family man and dearly loved them all. He could often be found at his grandkids events.

On November 14, 1970 he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Lois Rich. In addition to his wife of 53 years he is survived by his son, Aaron Rich of Walton, his daughter, Andrea Michael (Andy) of Walton, six grandchildren, Hunter Michael, Addisyn Michael, Palmer Michael, Evan Rich, Reagan Rich and Aiken Rich, and one great grandchild, Cayson Corona.

Dennis was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Rich, and his sister, Diana Rich Sewak.

Visitation will be 11 AM – 2 PM, Monday, December 11, 2023 at New Bethel Baptist Church in Verona. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM at the church. The burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.
