Derek Michael Blades

Mr. Derek Michael Blades, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away in Northern KY on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the age of 29.  He was the husband of Kristina Dailey.

Derek was a construction worker most of his life.  He loved to build homes and decks.  He was an artist, guitar player, loved playing poker, camping, hunting, fishing, exotic cars and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife Kristina, Derek is survived by his mother Tammy Blades, father Terry Sheets, step sister, Kendall Hopper, special cousin, Jo-Ellen Holt and several aunts, uncles and cousins.  Derek was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lois and J.T. Blades.  He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all whom knew and loved him.
