Dolores Williams Stewart

Dolores Williams Stewart was born Nov. 15, 1933 in Covington, Kentucky and passed away at her home in Walton, Kentucky on July 26, 2024 at the age of 90.  She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Mary Elizabeth Hall Williams.

Dolores was a retired recording secretary for Kenner Products in Oakley, OH.  After her retirement she went on to work for Staples in Florence, KY for several years.  While she was with Kenner Products she was a member of the AIW Local #338 Union where she also served as Union President.

Dolores was a long time member of All Saints Catholic Church in Walton.  She enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel and was an avid CNN watcher.

On Feb. 17, 1949, she was united in marriage to Cecil D Stewart; he preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 2002.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Charles and Norman Williams, her sister, Geraldine Slayback, and 2 grandchildren, John Christopher Beaty and Amy Wilcoxen.

Dolores is survived by four daughters:  Shirley Ann Tanksley (Roy D.) of Florence, Mary Catherine Stewart of Erlanger, Marguerite Stewart of Walton and Peggy Sue Spencer (Lonny) of Gladwin, MI; her son: John Stewart (Kimberly) of West Harrison, IN; five grandchildren: William Robert Beaty, Cecil Russ Beaty, Roger Wilcoxen, Daniel Wilcoxen and Jacob John-Henry Stewart; 20 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren; and her little buddy, her dog, Twister.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at All Saints Catholic Church in Walton.  Burial will follow in the St. Patricks Cemetery in Verona.
