Though a life well-lived, we regret the passing of Donald Charles Moore (March 22, 1930-October 13, 2022) at age 92. Don was a proud Navy man and wore his military hats and clothing proudly. Leaving Bellevue, KY, he joined the Navy and served in Korea on ships USS Wisconsin, Newport News, and New Jersey. He owned the DayBell Horseshoe Courts in Dayton, KY, was a member of OK Horseshoes Club in Ohio, coached baseball at Bellevue Vets, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He owned several printing businesses and retired as Manager of the print shop at United Way Community Chest in Ohio. He was a member of First Baptist Church Cold Spring. With wife, Janet Brown (deceased), they raised eight children: Donna, Gary, David, Debbie, Danny, Patty, Rob, and Darren. Don was blessed in finding love again and married Beth Harper. They enjoyed 25 years together enjoying church, getting together with family and friends, playing cards, and traveling. They were graced with 20 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren, and 1 step great grandchild. Siblings Dorothy McDonald (deceased) and Charles in Decatur, AL. Don is preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Dorothy Moore, wife Janet Moore, and children, David Moore, Patty Hibbard, Gary Moore Celebration of life will be at First Baptist Church, Cold Spring, KY on Tuesday, October 18, Visitation - 11:00-1:00, Funeral Service at 1:00. Burial with Military Honors will be St. Mary's Cemetery in Alexandria, KY.
