Donald Edward Cook of Dry Ridge, Kentucky

Donald Edward Cook , 38, of Dry Ridge, KY, died unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday morning May 9, 2020. Born in Cincinnati, OH on January 1, 1982, he was the son of the late Clarence Cook and Doris Faye Anderson.

Donnie was a very kind and compassionate individual who loved helping out anybody he could. He will long be remembered as someone who literally would “take the shirt off his back” to help someone in need. He enjoyed going to flea markets but his greatest love was shown toward his family and friends.

He leaves to mourn his passing, one son: D.J. Cook of Dry Ridge, KY; four brothers: Anthony Anderson of Dry Ridge, KY, Kenneth Anderson of South Fulton, TN, Dale Anderson of New Richmond, IN, Steven Anderson of Newport, KY and one sister: Jannie Anderson Hagedorn of Warsaw, KY

Visitation will be Friday May 22nd from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home - Verona.  Graveside services will follow at New Bethel Cemetery in Verona with Rev. Rex Gibson officiating.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions and the new reopening requirements we will be limiting our building occupancy to 33% of normal capacity, so please be prepared for a possible line as we will be monitoring the occupancy. We will also be strictly adhering to the 6 feet social distancing requirements. We also request that attendees please wear a face covering, if possible.
