Donald Ray Tucker

Rev. Donald Ray Tucker, a Florence, Ky resident, passed away at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the age of 73. He was the widower of the late Peggy Maphet Tucker. Don was born on April 26, 1948 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Ernie Tucker and Christine Jones Tucker. Don was a minister most of his life and was retired from Kroger. He was a member of the West Covington Baptist Church. He loved golf, softball, western movies and online gaming. He cherished every moment with his family and grandchildren. Don is survived by one son, Jerry L. Tucker of Florence, KY, two brothers, Steve Tucker of Little Rock, AR, Allen (Kathy) Tucker of Amelia, OH, four sisters, Kathy (Larry) Carlisle of Alexandria, KY, Joyce (Tom) Gabbard of Crittenden, KY, Sandy Roundtree of Crittenden, KY, Patty Warren of Carrollton, KY; a brother & sister-n-law: Bernie and Donna Maphet; two grandchildren: Darion Tucker, Jordan Tucker and four great grandchildren: Kenneth Compton III, Ava Faye Tucker, Elaina Tucker, Oliver Tucker. In addition to his late wife Peggy, Don was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey L. Tucker, three brothers, Jerome "Jerry" Tucker, C. Dean Tucker, J. David Tucker, one brother in law, Danny Roundtree, one sister, Nancy Tucker and a sister-n-law: Bonnie Roush Maphet. Visitation will be Friday, August 20, 2021 from 10am-12noon at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY. Funeral will be Friday at noon. Bro. Carl Fryman will be officiating services. Burial will follow at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY.
