Donna Sue Covington

Donna Sue Covington , 62, of Corinth, KY, passed away Saturday October 2, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center – Edgewood after a brief illness. Born Friday January 23, 1959 in Louisville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Shirley Ann Graham Breaden.

On March 1, 1998 in Gatlinburg, TN, Donna was united in marriage to Barry Gene Covington; he survives.  In 2013, she retired, after 25 years with Toyota.  She was an avid U.K. sports fan, she loved fishing, swimming and feeding her hummingbirds, but the greatest legacy she leaves is that of touching the lives of so many people by being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family, especially playing with her grandchildren, whom affectionately loved her as “Mawmaw”.  She will long be remembered as being a loving and extremely dedicated caregiver to her brother, “Sonny”. She was a member of Corinth Christian Church.

Donna leaves to carry on her legacy, her husband of 23 years, Barry; two sons: Brian (Jennifer) Baker, Jr. of Georgetown,, KY, Jeffrey D. (Deanna) Covington of Georgetown, KY; one daughter: Angela M. (Justin) Baker Bushey of Ashburn, VA; one brother: Charles R. Breaden of Lexington, KY; and one sister: Deborah A. (Mark) Gullett of Lexington, KY.  Four grandchildren also survive: Joshua D. Baker, Cadee D. Baker, Violet A. Baker and Braden T. Baker, along with one great-grandchild: Seth C. Baker.  Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends also survive.

Visitation will be Saturday October 9, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes (Williamstown location).  Funeral services will begin at 2:00 with Brother Quinten McNabb officiating.  Burial will follow in Williamstown Cemetery.
