Donna Kathleen Jones

Donna Kathleen Riesenbeck Jones was born March 7, 1948 in Covington, Kentucky and passed away November 12, 2024 in Warsaw, Kentucky at the age of 76.  She was the daughter of the late Jack and Eleanor Prenzel Riesenbeck.

Donna was a retired elementary teacher with the Williamstown Board of Education and a member of the Union Presbyterian Church in Union, Kentucky.  She was a also a member of the Grant County Retired Teachers.  Her love for serving her community and school led to her being a dedicated volunteer with Helping Hands in Williamstown allowing her to continue serving after retirement.  Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her friends and family.

Donna was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Wayne House, in 1999.  In 2002 she was united in marriage to Will Jones, he survives.  In addition to her husband of 22 years, she is survived by two daughters: Becky Johnson of Taylor Mill and Jenny (Todd) Atkins of Russell; two stepsons: Todd (Sandy) Jones of Atlanta and Shawn (Katherine Ripley) Jones of Evanston, IL; a brother: Tom (Jenifer) Riesenbeck of Florence; three sisters: Mary (Dave) Ball of Villa Hills, Jeanne (Ralf) Tetzel of Villa Hills and Judy (George) Wisby of Batavia; three grandchildren: Brady Johnson, Seth (Brianna) Atkins and Josie Atkins; and three step grandchildren: Jake Jones, Jamie Jones and Sabine Batza.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY  41097.  Funeral services will be 5:00 PM, Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Burial will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill.
