Donna Mae Tatum

October 4, 1943 — November 30, 2024

Donna Mae True Tatum was born October 4, 1943 in Owen County, Kentucky and passed away November 30, 2024 in Williamstown, Kentucky at the age of 81.  She was the daughter of the late Donald Edward and Mary Ellen Howard True.

Donna retired from Johnson Control in Georgetown.  She also worked at Georgetown Cable and several other factory jobs.  She was a devoted member of New Columbus Methodist Church in Corinth where she served as the church pianist for several years.  Donna dearly loved her church family.  She was a very giving person and was caretaker for her parents, Aunt Opal and former husband Frank.  She also enjoyed spending time at the Owenton Senior Center.

Donna was united in marriage to Frank Tatum who preceded her in death.  She is survived by two sisters: Valerie True Perkins and her husband Jeff, and Mary Colston and her husband Don; a brother: Johnny True and his wife Darlene; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at New Columbus Methodist Church, 16140 KY 607, Corinth, KY  41010.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at New Columbus Methodist Church.  Burial will follow in the True Cemetery.
