Donna Gayle Thomas

Donna Gayle Thomas , 69, of Crittenden, KY, passed away Sunday July 16, 2023 at her residence after a lengthy illness.  Born on May 4, 1954 in Covington, KY, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Bonnie Joy Deweese Hughes.

On December 30, 1972 she was united to Danny J. Thomas, he survives.  She was a devoted housewife and homemaker; before her illness caused her to not be able to work; she served as a waitress in various restaurants. Interior decorating was one of her greatest talents but her greatest fulfillment in life came from loving her family.

In addition to her husband of 51 years, Danny J., she is survived by one daughter: Devin (Brian) Landers of Crittenden; one son: Timothy J. Thomas of Union; one brother: Eugene (Debbie) Hughes of Independence and one sister: Linda (Greg) Sandy of Edgewood.  Also surviving are four grandchildren: Blake White, Brice Landers, Collin Landers, Rylee Thomas and one great-grandson: Hudson Landers, all of whom lovingly called her “Mamaw”.

An immediate burial will take place Friday July 21, 2023 at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell with an arrival time of 12 Noon. Anyone wishing to have flowers delivered may have them placed in the flower room at the Crittenden location prior to 10:30 a.m. on Friday.  Stanley Funeral Homes - Crittenden, has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Thomas.
