Dorothy Mae Deaton

April 11, 1941 — September 2, 2018

Dorothy Mae Mann Simmons Deaton was born April 11, 1941 in Crittenden, Kentucky and passed away Sept. 2, 2018 in Erlanger, Kentucky at the age of 77. She was the daughter of the late Ira Craig and Sylvia Irene Reed Mann.

Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of the Florence Baptist Temple.

She was preceded in death by husbands: Lester Simmons and Luther Deaton; a son: David Wayne Simmons; a brother: George Mann; and 2 sisters: Betty Seibert and Mary Lou Mann.

Dorothy is survived by 2 sons: Lloyd Daniel Simmons of Erlanger and Douglas Ray Simmons of Florence; a brother: John Mann of Crittenden; 2 sisters: Anna Lee Bowen of Gardnersville and Wanda Chipman of Verona; and 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden. Visitation will be 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mann Cemetery on Gardnersville Rd. in Crittenden.
