Dorothy Mae Jackson of Williamstown, KY was born April 4, 1930 in Winchester, KY and died Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Grant Center, Williamstown, KY at the age of 88.

She was the daughter of the late William and Carrie Mae Witt Strange, a retired cook for the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Grant County, and a member of the Harvest Apostolic Church in Williamstown. On April 9, 1949 she was united in marriage to her husband Cecil Elmore Jackson, Sr. who preceded her in death on January 1, 2017. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter Cecillia Mae Jackson Laws.

Surviving is 2 sons, Gilbert Wade Jackson of Dry Ridge and Cecil Elmore Jackson, Jr. of Corinth; 1 daughter Becky Sue McCracken of Williamstown; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown with burial to follow at the Jonesville Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the funeral home.
