Dorothy Dunn Lilly

Dorothy "Dot" Dunn Lilly, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence, KY on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at the age of 80.  She was the widow of the late Ernest Ray Lilly.

On March 11, 1964 Dot was united in marriage to Ernest Ray Lilly.  She is survived by 3 sons: Larry (Sandra) Lilly of Dry Ridge, Jeremy (Laura) Lilly of Dry Ridge and Thomas (Candace) Lilly of Williamstown; 2 daughters: Paula Edmondson (Tim Hudnall) of Dry Ridge and Nancy Owens of Crittenden; 10 Grandchildren: Heather (Ian) Bowling, Karri (Patrick) Steele, Tyler Edmondson, Rachel Lilly (Joe Mains), Logan Chaney, Noah Chaney, Frankie Chaney, Zach (Jessica) Bingham, Hank Lilly and Reya Lilly; and 6 great grandchildren: Grady Bingham; Whalen Ray Bowling, Payton Bowling, Lilly Mae Steele, Berklee Jo Mains and Sydney Lee Bingham.

Dot was preceded in death by a grandson: Josh Lilly; a brother: James R. Dunn, eight sisters, Christine Cook, Beulah Dunn, Juanita Dunn, Phyllis Cook, Peggy Underhill, Betty Dunn, Mary Margaret Rankin and Elizabeth Souder.

She was a member of the Sherman Church of Christ.  She loved to babysit in her earlier years, make quilts and spend time with her grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11-1:00 PM, Monday, April 10, 2023 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Funeral services will be at 1pm.  Burial will follow in the Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.  Rev. Tommy Simpson will be officiating services.  Memorials are suggested to the American Parkinson Association.
