Dorothy Mae Marksberry

Dorothy Mae Marksberry of Williamstown, KY was born September 20, 1941 in Williamstown and passed away Monday, September 28, 2020 at her residence at the age of 79.

She was the daughter of the late Carl Augustus and Goldie Blair Kidwell Billiter. She was a retired purchasing clerk for Levi in Hebron, a homemaker, and a member of the Mason Baptist Church. On September 23,1961 she was united in marriage to her husband, Robert “Bobby” Marksberry. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister Geraldine Spalding.

Surviving is her husband, Bobby Marksberry of Williamstown; 1 son, Mike (Rhonda) Marksberry of Jonesville; 2 daughters, Debbie (Sean Poteet) Marksberry and Pat (Mikie) Conrad both of Williamstown; 1 brother, Norman (Lucille) Billiter of Corinth; 2 sisters, Helen Whitaker of Berry and Judy Harper of Williamstown; 7 grandchildren, Mandy Smith, Todd Marksberry, Jason Webster, Britney Attinger, Jordan Marksberry, Mikayla Marksberry, and Miriah Marksberry; 10 great-grandchildren, Miley Smith, Dezi Marksberry, Chloe Marksberry, Mathew Britton, JJ Webster, Kaylee Webster, Lucas Webster, Addison Webster, Brooklyn Marksberry, and Bailey Marksberry; and life long friends, Barbara and Lester Edwards.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, October 2, 2020 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown followed by burial in the Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm Thursday, October 1, 2020 at the funeral home.
